I have so many things to see and do, you must not tie yourselves to me in tears, be happy that we had this time, I gave you my love, you can only guess how much you gave me in happiness, I thank you for that love you each have shown me, but it is time I traveled on alone. I'm an Australian married to an American girl living in the North East. We will NEVER forget the sacrifice the Marines and US Navy did in stopping the Japanese during WW2. In Australia , we have something called "The Ode". It's read at 6PM every evening in the Returned Servicemens League clubs (similar to your VFW) throughout the Country since WW1.
